Parks & Recreation Advisory Board

Board Responsibilities

Residents of the City of Pittsburg and those who live within eight miles of 4th and Broadway are eligible to serve on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, which has five members, each serving four-year terms. Board members review and recommend programs, recreational activities, fees, etc., for the department. They also review the status of the park facilities and make recommendations in regard to expansion, renovation or maintenance.
