DAB set to host annual 620 Day Block Party
The Downtown Advisory Board (
DAB) will celebrate our area code, Pittsburg’s 150th anniversary, and Father’s Day with its annual 620 Day block party. The event will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 20 at 2nd & Broadway St, Pittsburg.
The block party will feature over 60 food and beverage vendors and craft vendors. For the children, there will be multiple bounce houses from Let’s Party Equipment Rentals and Joplin House of Bounce, children’s activities, the Friendly Farms Mobile Petting Zoo, several snow-cone vendors, and various craft activities. Rollin’ Nostalgia Car Club will be present this year, and many small businesses will host sales. To celebrate Pittsburg’s 150th anniversary, there will also be a special concert featuring
Eastern Heights music.
This will be a common consumption area and will have alcohol for people of drinking age.
