The City of Pittsburg’s Finance Department manages the city budget, financial reporting, and fiscal policy.
Finance Department
The Finance Department is responsible for the administration of all financial and fiduciary operations of the City and ensures that the City is compliant with statutory requirements and generally accepted accounting and auditing procedures. The department prepares, in conjunction with the City Manager, the City’s annual operating budget and five-year financial plan, and oversees the City’s annual audit and preparation of the annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR).
