Accessibility Statement
The City of Pittsburg is committed to providing an accessible digital experience on our website, social media, and digital documents for everyone.
Our website is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the standard used to meet the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We continuously review the site against these guidelines to keep equal access in place for every visitor. The site has been tested for accessibility using both keyboard-only navigation and screen readers. That review covered the areas people use most: the header and mega menu, quick search and search results, the dropdown sections on department and hub pages, the events and news filters, and embedded content such as Google Maps. Two focus issues found during testing — keyboard focus in the homepage newsletter popup and the position of the skip-to-content link — have been corrected.
If you have questions or would like to report any usability or accessibility feedback to the City of Pittsburg, please let us know. If you have any reasonable accommodation requests to make our website more accessible for you, please contact us at web@pittks.org. We’re happy to help.
