Mt. Olive Cemetery
Mt. Olive Cemetery, located at 402 E. Quincy St. Pittsburg, KS, is a living legacy for peace and tranquility. The cemetery was officially organized in 1887 by the Pittsburg Cemetery Association. This 30-acre cemetery has served the local community for over a century and features a historic mausoleum known as the Mt. Olive Abbey that was constructed in 1926.
Rules & other helpful details
Easter to Thanksgiving only for cut flowers.
All vases must be approved by the Parks & Recreation Department.
Special decorations for other holidays are permitted if removed within 5 days during grass cutting season.
All decorations that are unsightly, unattended, or not maintained will be removed.
No planting, digging, rock or fencing.
Please take into consideration maintenance equipment when placing decorations. Please place decorations to the immediate side or rear of grave marker.
