39th Annual Christmas Parade Set for November 26

PITTSBURG, KS – The Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department is kicking off the holiday season with its 39th Annual Christmas Parade 6:30 pm Monday, November 26, in downtown Pittsburg. The parade will be held on Broadway Street from 10th to 2nd Streets.

Community members are encouraged to enter a float in the parade. Categories can include floats, marching bands, dance groups, walkers, vehicles, and animal or horse. There is no fee to participate.

Parade entries will be accepted until Wednesday, November 21, at 5:00 pm. Online registration is now available at https://pprd.pittks.org. Entry forms can be obtained online at www.pittks.org, or in person at Lincoln Center, 710 W. 9th St., Pittsburg.
