‘Tis the season for movin’, groovin’ and giving! Join Pittsburg Parks & Recreation on December 2nd for a holiday fundraiser for Communities In Schools, Mid-America. This year admission is one item from the list below. Participants will also have a chance to win a holiday gift basket by purchasing chances to win or bringing additional items from the needs list. One additional ticket will be received for each item donated to CIS, Mid-America. Better yet, all donations received at this year’s event will all stay within the USD 250 School District to help students in the Pittsburg Community Schools.
Communities In Schools, Mid-America helps students move beyond their circumstances with an individualized approach, not a one-size-fits-all. They treat young people as individuals and coordinate support around their specific needs. They believe that all young people deserve support and opportunity and that, given those things, they can succeed and create positive futures for themselves, their families, peer groups and their communities.
Stay up to date by joining the event on Pittsburg Parks & Recreation’s Facebook page!
