Street pavement improvements

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2026, contractors will begin pavement milling and overlay operations. Streets included are Broadway from the North city limits to Atkinson Street, and US Hwy 69 between 20th Street and 4th Street (Hwy 126). Weather dependent, the anticipated traffic modifications are anticipated to be in place for one week.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes, when possible, to use extreme caution when traveling in the area of construction and be aware of workers in the work zone.
