Search warrant results in two felony arrests

On Thursday, January 9, 2020 at approximately 7:20am, a narcotics search warrant was executed at 904 Turner Place in Pittsburg. The warrant pertained to the possession and distribution of illegal drugs. This was a joint investigative effort by the Pittsburg Police Department and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, where both agencies assisted in the execution of the search warrant.

As a result of this investigation, 31-year-old Rachel Diane Hill, of Pittsburg, and 24-year-old Brian Lamar Simmons, also of Pittsburg, were arrested for the following criminal offenses:

  • Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Endangering a child (3 counts)
  • Felony possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia

Hill and Simmons were both transported to the Crawford County Jail, where they were booked on the aforementioned charges. Both are being held in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
