Random Audible Testing
of the Storm Warning System
PITTSBURG, Kansas – The City of Pittsburg Traffic & Communications Division will be conducting
random audible testing of its storm warning system next week to provide for any necessary
maintenance of the sirens. This testing will begin on Monday, August 7th and will continue through
Friday, August 11th, during the hours of 7 am to 3:30 pm.
Should the weather not be favorable, the sirens will not be tested.
