No injuries at Elm St. Fire

On May 25, at approximately 8 a.m., the Pittsburg Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1405 S. Elm St., Pittsburg.

No one occupied the residence during the fire. No injuries were reported.

Upon arrival, the structure had fully evolved, with heavy smoke and fire, and significant fire involvement in the attic. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the structure sustained major structural damage, resulting in total property loss.

The cause of the fire is considered electrical following an investigation with the State Fire Marshal. The American Red Cross was contacted on behalf of the resident.
