On Wednesday morning, May 22nd, 2024, at 8:30 a.m., law enforcement officers from the Pittsburg Police Department executed two search warrants simultaneously at the residences of: 906 E. 13th Street, and 1126 W. 2nd Street, both in Pittsburg. Both search warrants pertained to the seizure of electronic devices used to facilitate criminal activity.
During this investigation, conducted by the department’s Criminal Investigations Division, 34-year-old Timothy Dean Reid, was found to be in possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Mr. Reid was taken into custody during the execution of the search warrant at the residence of 906 E. 13th Street.
Mr. Reid was arrested for Sexual Exploitation of a Child, and Internet Trading of Child Pornography. Mr. Reid was booked into the jail at the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, where he is currently being held in lieu of a $500,000.00 bond.
Mr. Reid is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
