Memorial Auditorium and Convention Center recently announced the 2026–2027 performance season, featuring an exciting mix of live music, family entertainment, theater, comedy, dance, and community celebrations. From internationally acclaimed performers to local productions and educational programming, this season offers something for audiences of all ages.
The season kicks off at 7 p.m. on September 12 with “Blank Space: The Unofficial Taylor Swift Tribute”, bringing fans an unforgettable evening celebrating one of pop music’s biggest superstars. It’s a high-energy, full-production show recreating Taylor’s legendary Eras Tour with every song, every outfit, and every move—it’s like seeing Taylor live!
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and in collaboration with PSU’s Hispanic Music Festival, Memorial Auditorium welcomes 123 Andrés for “Music Under the Stars” at 6 p.m. on September 17. The Grammy and Latin Grammy Award-winning duo will entertain audiences with an energetic, bilingual performance with an eclectic mix of sounds from all corners of Latin America. 123 Andrés pack their show with positive vibes and energetic songs that get the whole family moving. Join us outside on the north lawn for music, dancing, food, and fun.
The Texas Shakespeare Festival Roadshow takes the stage at 12:30 p.m. on October 30. for An Afternoon with Will featuring Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” – one of his most beloved comedies. Filled with mistaken identities, witty banter, romance, and unforgettable characters, the production offers audiences an entertaining and accessible introduction to one of the playwright’s greatest works. Please note, public seating is very limited.
Make the holiday season extra magical with a special Family Movie Day at 2 p.m. on December 20, featuring the newest animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ holiday classic “The Grinch (2018)”. Families are invited to enjoy this heartwarming Christmas favorite together. There will be fun treats, a book giveaway, and more.
Triple Threat Threeatrics brings everyone’s favorite lovable ogre to the stage with “Shrek the Musical”, coming February 2027. Based on the Academy Award-winning DreamWorks animated film, this Broadway musical features colorful characters, unforgettable songs, and a heartwarming story about friendship, acceptance, and finding your happily ever after.
World-class dance returns to Pittsburg at 7 p.m. on March 30, when International Ballet Stars presents “Swan Lake”. Featuring internationally acclaimed principal dancers Diana Stetsenko, Oleksii Kniazkov, Sergei Zdanschi, Ilona Baitler, and Anna Oleinic, alongside an international company of artists representing more than a dozen countries, the production showcases breathtaking choreography, stunning costumes, and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score. This production offers local dancers, ages 3-18, the opportunity to participate in the performance through IBS’s We Dance Program. Audiences looking for an interactive evening of entertainment can enjoy Jest Murder Mystery Co. at 7 p.m. on April 23. Combining comedy, mystery, and audience participation, guests become part of the investigation as they work to solve a hilarious whodunit. Jest Murder Mystery returns with a roaring 1920’s storyline, “Bullets in the Bathtub”. Dinner, cash bar, and an immersive game to keep you on your toes.
The season concludes at 7 p.m. on June 17 with the Young Artist Showcase & Awards, celebrating the incredible talents of local and regional young performers. This annual project recognizes outstanding achievement while providing students with the opportunity to perform on the historic Memorial Auditorium stage. The showcase will feature keynote speaker, Tony-nominated Broadway actress, Laura Bell Bundy, known for her role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and Glinda in Wicked. Nominations will open January 2027.
