Abstract art created by Lynn Meredith will be on display in the Beverly Corcoran Gallery at Memorial Auditorium and Convention Center starting Nov. 7 and ending Dec. 30.
The community is invited to a special Meet the Artist event on opening night, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 7. Guests will have the chance to visit Meredith while experiencing his artwork up close.
“There will be descriptions so people will be able to go through and get the story of each one of [the pieces] and get the story behind why I did this particular series,” Meredith said. “People are always going to think what they want to think when they see art, but I try to give them at least a little background on what I was trying to accomplish.”
The free exhibit is open to the public during MACC business hours.
