If you rent your home/business a $100 deposit is required.
To start water service, click on the link to complete the new service application at pittks.org/residents/water-service-application or come to city hall, 201 west 4th street and complete the application in person.
There are several ways to pay your water bill. In person at 201 West 4th street with cash, credit/debit card, check or money order, at the kiosk on the south side of city hall, via our phone system by calling 620-231-4100 or on our website at www.pittks.org.
Traffic tickets can be paid online at https://pittsburgks.municipalonlinepayments.com/pittsburgks/court/search or by going to the Police Station at 201 North Pine.

No, there is no deposit for sanitation services.
Sanitation is billed through your water bill.

A $1,000 meter deposit is required for temp/construction meters. This is paid in person at City Hall with a customer service representative. Once this deposit is paid, customer service will contact the water crew to schedule a time to set the meter.
Any business doing business within the city limits of Pittsburg for any amount of time, is required to obtain a business license.
Construction contractors and tradesmen can apply for their license online at pittks.org/business/building/contractor-licensing . All other businesses need to contact the customer service department at 620-231-4100 to obtain the correct license application.

Grass clippings and leaves may be taken to the Wastewater Treatment plant located located 1/8 mile east of 23rd Street and Michigan Street, on the north side of the road. The burn site is open to the public the second Saturday of every month from 8 AM until noon. This burn site is located on Quincy approximately 1.5 miles east of the intersection of Quincy & Rouse. Learn more about forestry services at pittks.org/parks-recreation/forestry-services

The City of Pittsburg has a 24 hour turn around time for all heavy haul application reviews.
