The Pittsburg City Prosecutor prosecutes violations of the criminal and traffic laws of Kansas and provides services to victims and witnesses to ensure their fair treatment in the criminal justice system.

John G. Mazurek has served as the City Prosecutor since 1997.
He earned his law degree from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University.
He is a member of the Kansas Bar Association (KBA), member of the Crawford County Bar Association (Past President), and the Kansas County and District Attorneys Association.
Mazurek is married to Diann Mazurek and they have two children. They live in Pittsburg and are members of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Jarvis joined the Prosecutor’s Office in 2008. She worked in the legal field for nine years prior to joining the City of Pittsburg. Jarvis graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor of Science degree . She also serves as the Victim/Witness Coordinator.
Adams serves as Court Administrator of the Municipal Court. She oversees the daily operations of the Municipal Court, functioning as a direct link between the court, attorneys, and public.
Noyes has over 28 years experience as a court services officer and supervises all probation clients in Municipal Court. She is responsible for seeing that all defendants placed on supervised probation complete all conditions of their probation. She is a graduate of Pittsburg State University.
