Heavy Haul Application

If moving within the City Limits, the owner must obtain a Building Permit & Pay Fees. The building for which a permit has been issued shall be placed on a permanent foundation prior to the expiration of the permit. The work authorized by a moving permit shall be commenced within three (3) calendar days from the issue date of said permit, and shall not exceed five (5) calendar days. If the work is suspended or abandoned after the work has commenced, the permit may be expired. In the event that rescheduling becomes necessary, the mover shall contact the Codes Enforcement Division and the Pittsburg Police Department within 48 hours prior to the move. The mover hereby certifies that they have all necessary bonds and insurance. The mover also certifies that they will comply with the streets designated and will provide an escort with valid police supervision.
