Traffic Safety Improvements: New Four-Way Stops to Be Activated at 5th and Pine, 6th and Pine Streets

PITTSBURG, KS – Traffic safety improvements are scheduled to go into effect this week. A four-way stop at the intersection of 5th and Pine Street and a four-way stop at the intersection of 6th and Pine Street will be activated on Friday January 10th, 2025. This change is under the advisement of the Traffic Advisory Board.

The City is asking all motorists to be aware of the new traffic signs and to use caution when approaching this intersection.
