City Press Releases

October 2, 2019

PITTSBURG, KS – On Monday, October 7, 2019, CDL Electric will begin work to the traffic light at the intersection of Centennial Dr. and South Rouse St, weather permitting.

Crews will relocate the traffic signal pole and mast arm on the southwest corner of the intersection. Traffic signals will be temporarily set to flashing red, making the intersection a four-way stop. A temporary signal will be brought in for the southbound traffic while this work is being completed. The relocation work is expected to take up to two days.

Restriping of the Centennial Dr. and South Rouse St. intersection and final traffic signal upgrades are scheduled to wrap up in the coming weeks.

Motorists should use extreme caution when traveling in the area of construction and be aware of workers in the work zone. For questions about this project, call the City project line at (620) 240-5116 or email projects@pittks.org.
