Road Closure Update: South Joplin St.

The streets on South Joplin St. between South Quincy and East Jackson will be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on April 28 and April 29 for powerline work. Southbound traffic will be moved to an outside lane, and northbound traffic will be moved into the turning lane at South Joplin St.

The eastbound lane on South Joplin St. between Quincy St. and East Jackson St. will remain closed until all repairs are complete. The east alleyway entrance off Joplin St., between Quincy and Jackson, will also be closed while work is underway.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible, use extreme caution when traveling in construction areas, and be aware of workers in the work zone.
