Railroad Crossing Work Prompts Closure on Jefferson Street

PITTSBURG, KS – Beginning Today, July 11th, 2025, Jefferson Street will be closed by the Railroad Contractor for Railroad Crossing Improvements.
Advanced notification and detour signs will be in place during construction. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes, to use extreme caution when traveling in the area of construction, and to be aware of workers in the work zone.
