Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department to host drive through “Trunk-O-Treat”

PITTSBURG, KS – The Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department is set to host a Drive Thru Trunk-O-Treat on Friday, October 30, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Don Gutteridge Sports Complex in Lincoln Park.

Patrons, kids and parents are encouraged to decorate their car and dress in costume while they drive through the Trunk-O-Treat where they’ll receive goodies in their trunk from local vendors. This event is free and open to everyone.

All community members will remain in their car for the duration of the drive through to ensure this is a safe, contactless event. Entry into the event will be located at the south end of the complex at the McNally Road and Memorial Drive intersection by Stice Ball Field.

Businesses interested in becoming a vendor must register in advance with the Parks & Recreation office by calling (620) 231-8310. The vendor registration deadline is October 28.
