No injuries from fire on Woodland St.

On April 14, at approximately 5 a.m., the Pittsburg Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 612 N. Woodland in Pittsburg.

There were two occupants, and neither was injured.

Upon arrival, the bulk of the fire was in the garage and had extended into the home. The Pittsburg Building Services Department is currently determining if the home will be habitable.

The American Red Cross was contacted on behalf of the occupants.

The fire is under investigation by the Kansas State Fire Marshal and the Pittsburg Police Department.
