National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The Pittsburg Police Department is hosting site location for U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:00am to 2:00 pm. This is an opportunity for citizens to properly dispose of prescription medication that is potentially dangerous, expired, unused or otherwise unwanted.

There will be a drop box located at the Pittsburg Police Department, located at 201 N. Pine Street, Pittsburg, Kansas, on Saturday, April 27, 2019. **Please keep sharps, needles, injectors and aerosol containers (inhalers) separate from other prescription medications.  Due to their nature, these items will need to be disposed of separately.**
