Farmers’ Market to include Mother’s Day craft

The Pittsburg Farmers’ Market will host a special activity for Mother’s Day.

While the market is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, at the Farmers’ Market Pavilion, children can select a flowerpot to paint for their mom. The custom pot will come with its own flower for kids to take home.

The activity was made possible thanks to sponsors Larry and Vicki Hill and Van Becelaere Greenhouse which helped provide the flowers.

“We’re excited to offer a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate Mother’s Day while supporting our amazing local vendors,” said Kayla Howard, Farmers’ Market manager.
