East Quincy Road Closure for Water Main Work

PITTSBURG, KS – Tuesday, May 10 through Wednesday, May 11, city crews will be working on the water main on East Quincy Street.

South Free Kings Hwy on East Quincy will be closed to all through traffic. The intersection of Quincy and Rouse going east to Franklin Rd. will be permanently closed to all traffic. Detoured traffic should use South Free Kings Hwy to East 4th Street to access Rouse Street.

Additionally, Quincy Street between Rouse Street and Joplin Street will have intermittent locations where it is reduced to single-lane traffic.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible, to use extreme caution when traveling in the area of construction, and be aware of workers in the work zone.
