PITTSBURG, KS – The City of Pittsburg has identified a mail delivery issue resulting from a strain on the US postal system. As a result, the city is encouraging citizens and customers to utilize its online services. Utility customers can pay online, over the phone, or via the drop box located on the south side of City Hall.

  • Online: Visit pittks.org and click on “Pay a Bill,” then click on “Online Utility Billing.” To set up automatic withdrawal, or to start, stop or transfer service, go to www.pittks.org/customer-service.
  • Over the phone: Customers can call during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and speak to a customer service representative; or use the city’s automated system to pay over the phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call (620) 231-4100 to pay with a MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express card.
  • Drop Box: Pay using cash, check or money order in the drop box located behind City Hall on the south side of the building. If paying in cash, please include your billing statement, address, name or account number so the payment goes toward the correct account.
  • Paperless Billing: By enrolling in the paperless billing program, you’ll receive your monthly billing statement online instead of in the mail. After enrolling in paperless billing, you will no longer receive a paper statement. Each month when your billing statement is ready for online viewing, you will receive an email notification. Sign up for e-billing by going to pittks.org/ebilling and registering for an account.
