Payments may be made by automatic withdrawal from a checking, savings or credit card. You will still receive a detailed copy of your bill each month showing the amount to be drafted.

Utility Bills for water, wastewater and storm water are consolidated on one statement and mailed on a monthly basis depending on your property location. The city is divided into three billing cycles, the 5th, 15th and 25th and are due 20 days after the billing date.
Please fill out and submit an Application for New Water Service. Please have the following handy when you fill out the application:
- A valid photo ID
- Social Security Number
- Rental/Lease Contract or Real Estate Purchase Agreement
- Contact information for an emergency contact
Customers that do not own their property will need to pay a $100 deposit at the time of application. There will also be a turn on fee added to the account for services that are not currently activated. The fee is $10 for inside city limits and $20 for outside city limits that will be added to your first bill.Sign up for New Water Service
Past Due Accounts
If your account becomes past due, a 10% charge is added to your account and a termination notice is mailed. The notice allows 10 additional days from the original due date to pay the account in full or make an arrangement on your account prior to shut-off. If service is disconnected, a disconnect fee is required to be paid along with the past due balance before service can be reinstated. Please call (620) 231-4100 if you have questions about the amount you will need to reinstate your service.
Customers need to call (620) 231-4100 and supply a forwarding address when disconnecting their service to receive a final bill or a deposit refund. The deposit will be applied to the final bill and any remaining balance will be refunded to the customer.
Rates & Fees
Return Payment Fees: If a payment is returned insufficient, there will be a $35 fee added to your account. After the second return, your account may be removed from the draft plan or if paying by check we will only accept cash only.
