My interest and focus lay with promoting pollinator habitats and plants. Last year we provided "Seed Bombs" made of clay, soil, and pollinator plant seeds. I also brought peat pots, soil, and milkweed seeds for young attendees to plant their own Milkweed seeds. These are all giveaways to go along with information about Monarch butterfly habitats.
My plan this year would be to augment the number of seed bomb giveaways. I ran out of those fairly quick last year. Much of this depends on where we are with Health issues. Depending on those, I might make 'grab and go' bags, instead of hands on activities.

We plan to have the following at our booth:
1. Information on what we do, and perhaps dialogue regarding other areas of potential need;
2. Sign-up sheet for interested members;
3. Beautiful potted plant for random drawing and lucky winner/no charge for entering. One ticket per person.
4. Micro-trash pick-up: small brown bags with request for visitors to pick up at least 10 small pieces of trash (We will have poster to display examples). When bag is returned, this person will be given a fresh baked cookie, compliments of Sweet Designs!

Live honeybee display, beekeeping equipment display, association promotional information, and honey for sale to promote our organization. Our exhibit will be staffed by members that will be able to provide first-hand information about beekeeping and how to support all pollinators.

We will have a display board advertising who we are and what we do. Brochures will be available. We may have a few bird boxes for sale ($12), and will have small packets of milkweed seeds available as giveaways (milkweeds attract butterflies). We will need a table. Thanks.

Our table display will feature some materials we have created at the KPRC (foam made from chicken fat and batteries made from old coffee grounds). We will also have information available on an upcoming sustainability lecture, which will focus on plastics recycling.

We plan to bring our prescription drug box to the event and letting people know about the environmental and safety impacts of the program. We will also be taking registrations for our new bike registration program. Bicyclists are welcome to bring their bikes to our booth and register on site.

Participants will have an opportunity to complete a new or an updated voter registration application, either by a paper form or by applying online. Participants will be able to verify their registration status and be able to ask questions concerning voting guidelines and upcoming elections.
Written information will be available for handouts on registering and verifying registration.
