We will have seeds, dirt and small containers for kids, or anyone, to learn how to plant small seeds. They may take these containers home and, hopefully, help them grow.

I'll be bringing soil, peat pots, and milkweed seeds to encourage participants to germinate and grow their own MilkWeed plant(s). I'll also try to bring small seed bombs with local wildflower seeds.
The focus is to talk about local milkweed plants and discuss how to help the habitats of butterflies and pollinators.

This year we hope to provide educational experiences that will teach children and adults about supporting environments for butterflies, bees, and birds. We hope to have giveaways: painted rocks with butterflies. We hope to have a craft where children can create their own butterflies, while observing some plants that are homes for caterpillars, butterflies, and birds. We will have a drawing for these small plants to be given away, and for a Lego succulent plant, and a butterfly kite! Our message is to be sensitive to our natural world and know how we can make a difference.
