Pittsburg Community Schools – USD 250 (K-12)

Sixty percent of the teachers in Pittsburg have a master’s degree or higher, with an average experience level of 10 years or more.

 

 

St. Mary’s Colgan Catholic Schools (K-12)

Pittsburg is also home to St. Mary’s Colgan Catholic Schools. Students here receive an outstanding academic education while learning about the Catholic faith daily through prayer, the practice of self-discipline and putting the needs of others first.

 

CTEC

The Southeast Kansas Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) supports area economic development by creating training and educational opportunities that match the employment needs of area industry. Through a partnership with Fort Scott Community College, students can earn certificates in the following programs: Carpentry (Certificate or Associate’s Degree), HVAC (Certificate or Associate’s Degree), Masonry, or Welding.
