Solid Waste Service Signup Form

The City of Pittsburg would like to thank you for your recent interest in our solid waste collection service. The following information is more detail about this upcoming service.

• Solid waste collection begins September 3rd.
• The service will be billed monthly and included with your water bill.
• Monthly residential service will be $18 for a weekly pickup. A 96-gallon City owned poly cart will be provided. An additional poly cart can be provided upon request for $9 per month.
• Commercial service will be $60 per month for weekly pickup of a 2-yard dumpster and $80 for a 4-yard dumpster. Additional dumpsters and pickups can be provided for additional fees.
• Solid waste collection will be provided in the alley of the property where available, and will occur once a week for both residential and commercial services, not beginning earlier than 6:00 AM. An additional commercial pickup can be scheduled if requested for an additional fee.
• Alley pickup where available. Curbside pickup for those without alleys.
• Bulk item pickup can be scheduled by calling 620-230-5698. A fee will be added to your monthly bill based on the size of the pickup. For your convenience, you will be notified of the fee amount before your pickup is scheduled.
• Grass clippings must be in a bag to be picked up.
• We will pick up tree limbs. They must be bundled. Bundles can be max 2 feet in diameter by 4 feet long. Limbs cannot be bigger than 2 inches in diameter.
