Small Business Saturday rings in the Holidays

Downtown Pittsburg, the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Pittsburg Arts Council’s annual Small Business Saturday Passport Event is set for Nov. 29.

The city-wide event offers the perfect opportunity for participants to shop local for their holiday essentials. Participating businesses will offer deals and specials the entire day.

To conclude Small Business Saturday, Downtown Pittsburg will host the annual Community Tree-Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at Pritchett,

Shoppers can pick up their passports at several pickup locations: Ron’s Supermarket, The Corner Patio, The Balkan, Signet Coffee Roasters and Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

Passports for stamp collecting can also be found at the Holiday Art Market, which will be held from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Frisco Event Center on the same day. The Mistletoe Market will also be open from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Pritchett Pavilion. 

Collect at least five stamps from participating businesses to be eligible for the drawing. Passports can be submitted at www.pittks.org/sbs
