Starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, North Locust Street from East 4th Street to the north side of the Besse Hotel will be closed to all through traffic for construction work in the area. The road will reopen on Dec. 18, 2025.
To access the City of Pittsburg Parking lot #2 as well as the Kansas Teachers Credit Union back entrance, please use the north side entrance to the lot via East 5th Street.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes, when possible, to use extreme caution when traveling in the area of construction and be aware of workers in the work zone.
