PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE APPLICATION FOR CDBG FUNDS
CITY OF PITTSBURG
The City of Pittsburg will hold a public hearing on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Law Enforcement Center, City Commission Room, 201 N. Pine, Pittsburg, KS, for the purpose of considering an application to be submitted to the Kansas Department of Commerce for Small Cities Community Development Block Grant funds under the CDBG-CV category. The specific project application to be discussed is for the Economic Development program and the Meal Program within the city limits of Pittsburg. The maximum amount of the grant request will be for $400,000, consisting of a maximum request of $300,000 for both micro and regular business assistance category and $100,000 for the meal program.
The public can also call in using the phone number (620) 240-5150. Oral and written comments will be recorded and become a part of the City’s CDBG Citizen Participation Plan.
