Pittsburg to Celebrate Little Balkans heritage

The City of Pittsburg will continue to celebrate its Little Balkans heritage this year. The city is collaborating with event organizers across the community to create Little Balkans-themed events leading up to and during Labor Day weekend.

“With Pittsburg turning 150 this year, we would be remiss to not include our Little Balkans heritage in our celebrations,” said Kim Froman, City of Pittsburg Director of Housing and Community Development. “We hope to give homage to the Little Balkans Days Festival committee, who worked tirelessly to share our history.”
