No damage to store after storage fire

On Feb. 12, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Pittsburg Fire Department responded to a fire at Tractor Supply located at 115 E 28th St, Pittsburg.

Upon arrival, firefighters witnessed a large pile of hay bales and stall bedding on fire outside the outdoor supply gate. The fire was contained to the bales and a small shed.

Firefighters were able to pull the pile apart and extinguished the fire. Units cleared after about an hour and a half.

There was no damage to the store building or other outdoor supplies. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and is under investigation.
