Narcotics Search Warrant

On Thursday, March 12, 2026, at approximately 5 p.m., Law Enforcement Officers with the Pittsburg Police Department, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of North Michigan Avenue, in Pittsburg.
The warrant was the result of an investigation into the possession and distribution of methamphetamine and other controlled substances. During the execution of the warrant, one individual was located in the back yard and detained. The residence was cleared and no other individuals were located.
The subject located in the back yard was identified as 31-year-old Gina Mason, of Cherokee, and she was placed under arrest for an unrelated arrest warrant issued out of the Bourbon County Kansas District Court.
A lengthy search of the residence was conducted, and many items of evidence were located and collected, including items of illegal drugs believed to be methamphetamine and related items of paraphernalia. Several firearms were also located and seized. No further arrests have been made at this time.
