Narcotics Arrest

On Friday, February 20, 2026, at approximately 9:10 a.m., officers with the Pittsburg Police Department served a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of east 25th Street.
The warrant was the result of an investigation into the possession and distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl. During the execution of the warrant, one individual was detained and evidence was collected.
As a result of the investigation, 45-year-old Theron Joseph Nuss, of Pittsburg, was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office for booking.
Mr. Nuss was arrested on the following charges:
• Felony distribution of fentanyl
• Felony possession of fentanyl
• Felony possession of methamphetamine
• Felony possession of narcotics
• Felony possession of drug paraphernalia
• Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
• Misdemeanor possession of marijuana
Mr. Nuss is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
