NAC calls for volunteers

Through volunteering, the community has an opportunity to help their neighbors during the Neighborhood Advisory Council’s Fall Spruce Up event, which was recently rescheduled due to weather. The event is set for 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Volunteers are needed to help more than 20 residents who were nominated to have their yards and home exteriors spruced up. Volunteers will help with raking leaves and yard work; exterior painting (weather permitting), and loading and unloading bulky items.

People can sign up pittks.org/nac. Once signed up, volunteers must go to Pittsburg’s City Hall at 201 W 4th St. at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 to fill out a Volunteer Release Waiver and to be organized into teams.
