Vendor applications and sponsorship forms are open for the Pittsburg Farmers’ Market’s 2026 season. Anyone can apply to join the fifteen-plus local businesses currently selling handmade goods, fresh produce, artisan crafts and more.
The Farmers’ Market 2026 season will go from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through April 18 to Oct. 31 at the Farmers’ Market Pavilion, 119 E. 11th St, Pittsburg.
The benefits of being a vendor, says Farmers’ Market Manager Kayla Howard, are that it gives people an opportunity to share about their business, helps business owners feel connected to their community, and has a great atmosphere.
“I have never met such a kind, caring, fun group to be around,” Howard says. “They all support each other. It’s really cool to be part of. I try to encourage anyone who has ever thought of setting up a stand to come join us.”
The Farmers’ Market supports local growers, bakers, and makers, and strengthens our local economy. Food is also fresh because growers harvest within the week of the market, and bakers bake the week of, Howard says.
The market also provides an educational experience for visitors. They learn about methods of growing, cooking, and other facts about growing and eating fresh produce. Parents often bring their children and sometimes there are crafts and other entertainment for them.
Being a sponsor helps support vendors and activities such as Kid’s Days on the third Saturday of each month and live entertainment.
Those interested in applying to be a vendor or a sponsor can visit pittks.org/farmersmarket. Completed applications can be emailed to pprd@pittks.org or dropped off at the Lincoln Center, 710 W 9th St, Pittsburg. Spots for pop-up vendors and weekly vendors are available.
