Earth Day Registration

The Sustainability Advisory Committee is now accepting applications from individuals, organizations, and businesses for the 2026 Pittsburg Earth Day Celebration.

The purpose of this outdoor family friendly event is to inform the public about environmental responsibility, and to raise awareness of the wonderful organizations and businesses that help make the Pittsburg area a great place to live.

This year’s Earth Day Celebration will be on Saturday, April 18 at the Farmers’ Market Pavilion at 119 E. 11th St., Pittsburg, KS, and will be held in conjunction with the Farmers’ Market Opening Day!

Please consider joining us by planning an exhibit or activity your organization can share with participants. Anything related to promoting the care of our natural world, wildlife, gardening, pollinators, recycling, as well as taking care of our health and wellness is appropriate.

For more details, please contact Farmers’ Market Manager Kayla Howard at kayla.howard@pittks.org or 620-704-4021.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, April 10.
