Pittsburg Community Theatre
The City of Pittsburg and Memorial Auditorium & Convention Center supports PCT, a non-profit theatre organization serving Southeast Kansas, who is housed in Memorial Auditorium, 503 N. Pine. Each year this organization produces three mainstage shows and a two-week summer drama workshop for youth.
Jr. Starz Children’s Theatre Workshop
An intensive, two-week children’s theatre workshop during the summer that culminates in a free performance for the community on Friday night.The workshop focuses on acting, singing, dancing, art and music appreciation, and the chance for youth to help create sets, props and costuming.

Times: 8:00 a.m. – Noon OR 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Notes: Class size limited to first 40 registrations received.
Dance
A variety of classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and performance designed for first timers up to advanced dancers. Classes are offered for boys and girls beginning at two years and older. Start here to learn and build on knowledge and technique.
