In a dynamic and exciting position, the Human Resources Representative serves as a key leader within the City of Pittsburg’s Police Department. The position is directly responsible for all HR functions of our law enforcement center, including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, benefits, staff development, compliance, employee engagement, training, and employee recognition in assigned division. Ideal candidate will combine a positive, energetic approach with proven HR leadership experience and pristine personal values and ethics. Major contributor in the organization and an influential driver behind employees’ successes and the achievement of strategic organizational goals. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
