DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to town halls hosted by Pittsburg State University Health\, Human Performance and Recreation’s Administration of Recreation Sport class and the City of Pittsburg Parks and Recreation Department (PPRD). \nThe town hall meetings will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday\, March 2\, and Wednesday\, March 4\, at the Lincoln Center\, 710 W. 9th St.\, in Pittsburg. \nThey are inviting anyone in the Pittsburg area community who has or would like to participate in PPRD programming\, use PPRD facilities\, or engage with others in the community. \nThe class will use data from these meetings to create a strategic plan and will disseminate a community survey sometime in March.
