Rain cancels the sale.\nProceeds from the Book Sale benefit the Friends of the Library\, an organization that purchases library materials and sponsors programs and special events throughout the year\, including the Summer Reading Programs for all ages.\nThe Pittsburg Public Library is closed for regular business from Saturday\, September 2 through Monday\, September 4. Regular hours will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday\, September 5. Shop for a great cause!
