Water Utility
The Utility Billing division is responsible for the City’s water, wastewater and storm water utility bills. In addition to accepting payments, the Customer Service Representatives can handle questions about your bill or requests for utility connections or disconnections. Establishing or Canceling Utility Service
Utility service can be initiated or cancelled through the Utility Office at City Hall, located at 201 W. 4th Street or by calling (620) 231-4100. When water service is connected, a responsible person needs to be present at the location receiving service. This will ensure that no water damage will occur from faucets that have been inadvertently left on. A $5.00 fee for initiating service will be charged. For utility customers who do not own their property, a $75.00 deposit is required. When disconnecting utility service, customers need to supply a forwarding address. The final bill, or deposit refund, will be sent to such address.
