Arts and Entertainment
The City of Pittsburg offers a broad range of arts and entertainment opportunities for its citizens and visitors. Each year, the community gathers for special events such as the Fourth of July celebration and Little Balkans’ Days Festival in September. Both events feature craft shows, sporting competitions and other community wide activities. Pittsburg’s Memorial Auditorium and Convention Center supports the arts by hosting numerous concerts, plays and shows throughout the year. There is also an endless amount of sporting opportunities in Pittsburg. Local high schools as well as Pittsburg State University offer exciting sporting events for the community to attend.
