A:    To file for election to the City Commission, candidates must visit the City Clerk’s office to obtain the official paperwork for filing. A registration fee also applies.

Q: … obtain a Liquor or Dance Hall license?
A:    After filing with the appropriate State agencies, applicants should visit the City Clerk’s office. Drinking establishment licenses carry a fee of $250, Dance Hall licenses carry a fee of $150, and Cereal Malt Beverage License carry a $175 fee if drinking on the premises, and $75 for no consumption on the premises.

A:    To be added to the City bid list, potential bidders should contact the City Clerk’s Office at 620-231-4100 or tammyn@pittks.org. Official bid notices are also published in The Morning Sun newspaper.

A:    The City Commission meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the Court Room at the Public Safety Center, 201 North PineStreet. The meetings are also shown live on cable channel 6.

A:    To register to vote, contact the City Clerk at 620-231-4100 or tammyn@pittks.org to have a voter registration form mailed to you. You can also visit the City Clerk’s portion of the website to download the appropriate forms.
