Bob and Sandy Kennett
Bob & Sandy Kennett have called 604 E. 13th home for over forty three years. Mr. Kennett says “it is a joint effort between him and his wife, but he says she does most of the work”. They can be seen evenings and weekends out in the yard making sure everything is in its proper place. They take pride in their home and yard and know that it is a continual effort to keep the property looks good and free of litter.
Kathy Dyer resides at 710 W. Jefferson and has owned her home since 2004. She can be seen on a weekly basis working in her yard, spending additional time in the spring and fall. She encourages others to keep their property looking nice, “take time to enjoy the yard work, it is has great mental and physical benefits and makes a great place to hang out with family and friends”. She tries to plant mostly plants that come back every year and that will bloom at different time with a variety of colors. She says “my back yard is my haven away from the business of life, which she shares with her dog Saydee and her granddaughter.” -top-
Jeff Wood of Vietti Auto Body and & Alignment Inc
Jeff Wood has been the owner of Vietti Auto Body and Alignment since 2003. His business has had a recent addition and remodel which Jeff says, “Gives him a nice attractive professional looking building”. His expansion has allowed for new paint booths and the ability to better market his business to the community. He is pleased with his Big Gorilla and the landscaping done on east side of his building. He said, “We are already on second bed of flowers around Gus and look forward to developing the area.”-top-
